Module Feedback 2007-2008
Module Feedback is formally collected for each module delivered across the country. The objective of this feedback is to dertermine how students are progressing in modules and also to obtain answers to questions relating to student workload, quality of the manual and the seminars themselves along with the general institute experience. Issue with An Post unable to deliver letters to Dublin 4
Due to the An Post dispute we are currently holding all post that is addressed to the Dublin 4 area. These letters will be sent when the issue is resolved. If you are waiting to receive correspondence such as an Exam Attendance Notice please log into the Student Resource Centre.

Students registering for the QFA Regulation - Incompany Induction Programme:

Please note that because this exam is run once a month, it is not processed in the same manner as our generic courses. Students will only be registered for the exam date that they have selected when the previous exam date has passed. Applications are held until they can be processed. So please take note of when you selected to sit your exam as you will not receive any correspondence from us until a few weeks before your exam date.

Change of Examination Dates for Resits for Semester 2 Modules

Under University College Dublin regulations, students must have a 15 week period between the initial exam date (May 2008) and the resit date (currently scheduled for July 2008).

In order to facilitate this rule we are transferring the resit dates for Semester 2 modules from 19th and 26th July 2008 to 6th and 13th September respectively.

It is important to note the change of dates when booking annual leave.

IBSS 2008
The 61st International Banking Summer School (IBSS 2008) will be held in July 2008 in Hong Kong. It will be hosted by the Hong Kong Institute of Bankers and the theme is "Next Wave and Beyond".

IBSS is a unique 10 day event for senior banking executives, which is held in a different venue each year. For more information please click here.

Information on the Closing Dates for Course Registrations for Term 3
Where places are still available on a course we will accept applications for modules from 6th June 2008 until 18th July 2008 without charging a late entry fee.

A late entry fee of €50 per module will apply to all examination entries received after 18th July 2008.

Entries for programme registration will not (under any circumstances) be accepted after the 1st August 2008.

Minimum Competency Requirements

The Financial Regulator’s Minimum Competency Requirements can only be fulfilled by attainment of a recognised qualification by an external professional body or ‘grandfathering’ AND satisfying Continuing Professional Development (CPD requirements).
